9th Asian Open Water Swimming Championship
The 9th installment of the AOWSC event hosted by Kuwait Swimming Association under the auspices of AASF has been successfully organized in Marina Beach, Salmiya with participation of almost one hundred swimmers from twelve Asian National Federations. The ASTANA Al Maty Club of Kazakhstan has dominated the recently concluded 11th Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship which was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 6-11 November, 2017.
Six Clubs from Iran, Kazakhstan, Korea and Thailand with more than a hundred athletes and officials have gathered in a 6-day competition under the direction of Mr. Katsumi Kuroda (JPN) in his capacity as the Technical Delegate. All teams have exhibited their skills ending the competition in a thrilling fashion.
SAIPA Club and Islamic Azad University both coming from Iran claimed the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
